Here are some easy steps to help you learn how to
prevent and cope with Stress.
Do you work in an office environment or at a desk?
At your desk, for 3 minutes each day:
Sit in a comfortable position.
Gently pace your tongue at upper jaw, between gums and front teeth.
Take 9 slow deep breaths.
Relax. Relax. Relax.
Do you work in an environment that places great importance on goal-setting and targets?
At work, for 2 minutes each day:
Standing, relax and slowly stretch up on tiptoes.
Relax and stand normally.
Walk around the office/work area in this manner:
inhale--hold breath--take one step.
After three steps, exhale.
Repeat 3-5 times, and now relax.
Are you stressed by having to achieve success within consistently difficult programs?
Is your stress chronic and systemic?
At work or home, for 6 minutes each day:
Switch off television, radio, phones, computer.
Sit comfortably and relax.
Visualize a pleasant event in your life.
Pleace both feet flat on the floor, and gently place your tongue at upper jaw, between gums and front teeth.
Take 18 slow deep breaths.
